GCLL Redsox Defeat Whitesox for Majors Title

    The Gastineau Channel Little League's Juneau Pizza Redsox are the Major Division baseball champions, defeating the Ike's Fuel Whitesox 2-1.

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Gastineau Channel Little League have crowned a 2022 Majors Division baseball champion.

      The Juneau Pizza Redsox defeated the Ikes Fuels Whitesox 4-3 for the championship on Saturday at Miller Field.

      The Redsox season roster included Darwin Decena, Andrew Sanders, Fischer Kolodziejski, William Kiessling, Joaquin Ramirez, Jamison Randolf, Brenner Harralston, Jack Pegues, Micah Nelson, Myles Pasion, Marquis Lim and Matthew Shockly.

      The Whitesox season roster included Andrew Erickson, Ayden Bergmann, Callan Walker, Gavin Kohan, Joshua Beedle, Judah Haven Marr, Kasen Richmond, Keaton Belcourt, Kristopher Lanz, Mason Catrett, Micah Polasky and Riley Watkins.
