Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Members of the Juneau Downtown Business Association had an important message to share with listeners to Action Line.
"Downtown is open!"
Association President Midgi Moore said, "Everybody has been hunkering down and sheltering in and we've been fully reopening our businesses. Some of them have been opening quite awhile observing safety protocols and mandates to ensure not only their employee safety but their customer safety as well."
Moore was joined on the program by Lisa Ibias of Downtown Dames, Colleen Goldrich of Annie Kahill's and her sister Erin Mitchell who is helping at the store.
They discussed the pandemic protocols they have employed at their stores and the creative ways they have adopted in response to changes in the "normal shopping" experience.
